Flexible Feeding Systems
dynamic and highly flexible infeed concepts with image processing and robot-handling
In comparison to the "conventional" feeding systems such as step conveyors and chain conveyors,
flexible feeding systems can frequently be adapted to new requirements / product types at the press of a button.
In many cases the retooling costs as well as the number of parts to change are signigicantly reduced in comparison
to what would be unavoidable for a type conversion on a standard sorting facility.
Here, components for advance material separation into singles - e.g. conveyors without sorting facility-work in
combination with robot and image processing systems.
In addition to the position detection system which the robot requires for determining its pick-up point, quite often
additional controls can be realised via image processing (workpiece geometry / type differentiation / incorrect part detection etc.).
